  to give myself a black eye!! Tonight when my friend and I was playing tennis like we do every night, I was trying to work on my follow-through and the edge of the racket ended up hitting me in the face. It really sucks because it hit me right under my eye where it easily swells and blacks. I wish I could have blamed it on someone or something else but it was totally me just being me I guess. I just though I would share cause well crazy things just seem to happen to me (especially since I'm so ditsy)

• Thank You Carrie for Saving Me in Little Rock!!

  My story....

  So around 1pm, my friends and I load up in my car for our 4 1/2 hour drive to Little Rock. Leaving this early, we all thought there would be plenty of time to get to the concert.  We sang our hearts out the whole way there, and right as we pull into Little Rock in hits me...I FORGOT THE TICKETS!! Talk about freaking out! I somehow thought of a plan though (which didn't work), I thought if I could get on a computer then I could just print the tickets off of ticketmaster. So I pull the car into these random hotel (because hey a hotel has to have the internet) and my friends sweet talk the receptionist into allowing me on the computer even though we didn't have rooms there. Please note that the time is 6:10 and I had to be there for the meet&greet by 6:30. It was just going to cost us $1 per page we print. I frantically get on the computer and go to ticketmaster.com, I click the link that said Print Your Tickets, I was thinking hey that was easier than I thought (boy was I wrong). I guess if you have your tickets printed and mailed then you can't go and print them off anytime. I ended up just printing off my order details and hoped that would work. As we were leaving the hotel at 6:25, I realize I have no clue where the Alltel Arena is. So I, of course, drove about three miles the wrong way when my friend tells me that the receptionist had told her we needed to turn the other way to get to Alltel. I frantically speed toward the right direction (and yes I did manage to go over a speed bump way to fast as well). I finally find the arena and the time is 6:35 so in my head I thought I had missed the meet&greet. I decided I would check to see if they would still let me in so I pulled my car right in front of the Alltel Arena and told one of my friends to park the car. I got to the crosswalk, just jumped out of the car (somehow remembering to grab the shirt I had planned on wearing but didn't want to mess up on the long road trip), and ran for the boxoffice. When I get up there and ask the lady if i had missed the m&g, she said no that she had just got the passes to give out to everyone. I was so happy until she asked for my ID and I realized I jumped out of the car with nothing but a coat and shirt (NO ID). I was about in tears at this point so I call my friends to see where they were; they were parking the car so I beg them to grab my id. I guess the lady felt bad cause she just handed me the m&g and said next time make sure you bring your id. I thanked her and ran to the family I had met at the boxoffice who were also going to the m&g. We get to the doors and I tell the lady I don't have my ticket with me and that my friends had the order form I had printed off so she told to go over to the customer servive desk. Somehow I talked the lady into letting me at least go down for the m&g. I ran to the restroom to put my shirt on then to the m&g place. I found the family I had met before and they were just so amazing to me. As we were in line I had realized I had also left my camera and the picture I had printed for carrie to sing all in my car. The family told me I could use their camera and they would email me the picture. At this point I didn't even know if I wanted a picture because I was a nervous wreck, I was sweating refusely, and I was afraid I had broke out in hives (that's what I do when I'm stressed). I tried calming myself down and fanning myself while waiting in line to meet Carrie. 
  

  So it my turn to meet Carie, I walk up, she shakes my hand, and I gave her the envelope from the m&g pass to sign. So I ask her if she could do me a huge favor and she of course said sure. I asked her if she could make the autograph out to my friends, Holly and Tara, and to write "Please Forgive Staci". Then I told her what I had done and how I had managed to talk them into letting me go to the m&g. I told her that just getting to meet her counted for something and she said no it's not. Then we took our picture together, I thanked her again, and walked out of the room. As I was leaving, I heard the family say that it was their camera I had used because I had just ran from my car and had nothing with me. I was out in the hallway asking one of the workers where I was supposed to go and that when it happened....Matt came out and said stay right here. At this point, I had no clue what was going to happen next. A few minutes later, Matt came out and said there are three tickets for you and your friends at the boxoffice. I was in shock and stood there and I thanked him lord only knows how many times...and he said dont thank me thank Carrie. I asked him if he would thank Carrie a million times for me. From there, I ran to the boxoffice, found my friends who were waiting there, and we got the tickets.

  What I failed to mention to anybody all day was that the concert was a way of trying to help my friend (Holly) to survive Mother's Day. Holly lost her mom to breast cancer in October and it was the first Mother's Day without her. Her birthday is also next week so it has just been really hard for her lately. When I realized I had forgotten the tickets, I felt so horrible because the concert was supposed to make her happy on one of the hardest days for her.

  THANK YOU CARRIE!! You are such an amazing person and I can't even put into words how thankful I am. You turned what could have been the worst day ever to one of the best. God bless you!

• Get Ready Little Rock...

  I'm so excited now for May 11. I was a little disappointed in my tickets but I was buying three this time instead of one. I usually just go by myself but I wanted my friends who aren't that big of Carrie fans to see her live. I mean once you see her live and see how amazing she, it makes you like her even more. I ended up with tickets in section 105 row 12 so their not that bad of seats. I was just in the 12th row on the floor in Kansas City so it;s kinda hard to compare. Well, I guess I'll go hit up the message boards now...
